The school has a 20 bed infirmary manned by a trained and highly experienced nurse. It also has two of the City's most renowned Pediatricians on 24-hour call. Both these doctors are ex-students of the Bishop’s School. The infirmary is for both Boarder and Day Scholar boys.
The school has regular inoculation programs conducted by our doctors.
No boy is permitted to attend the school if there is any infectious disease in the house or in the environment for last 14 days. Parents must notify the Principal at once of such disease, and keep their boy(s) at home until such time as they are permitted to return. Often parents send their boys to school with mumps/measles/chickenpox and other infectious diseases, unmindful of the safety of the other students. Such students will be sent home immediately rather than allow them to infect others.
Failure to report infectious cases may lead to prohibition of further attendance by the boy and his name being removed from the school rolls.
