Below mentioned are the answers to some of the frequently asked questions by the parents regarding online admission process.
Q1: The website is not opening or I am not able access the site .
Ans : Please note our website addresses are www.thebishopsschool.org and www.thebishopsschool.net . If you are not able to access any of the two links , check your internet connection or contact your ISP or try from other locations.
Q2: When can i apply for admission to the Bishop's School.?
Ans : Application forms will be available on our website from 15th Nov 2006 to 15th Dec 2006. You can fill up application for Lower KG of Camp, (which is a boys school) and Nursery of Kalyani Nagar, (which is a Co-Ed School) and Nursery, Class 1 to Class 3 of Undri,(which is a Co-Ed School). Please note that no manual application form is available at the school office or anywhere else. So all the applications has to be made from the website only.
Q3 : How to fill-up the application form ?
Ans : For filling up the application, Follow the Instructions given below:
· Click on the Admission form link available on the homepage of our site.
· Agree to the Instructions available on the next page and click Continue.
· Give your Child’s date of birth and class you are applying for, in the space provided on the next page and click submit.
· If your Child’s age falls within the age limit as specified (refer to link Agelimit on homepage), you can fill up the application, else you will be redirected to a page displaying message that your child doesn't fall within the age limit for the particular class. In this case preference will be given to children who meet the age criteria.
· After getting the application form, please fill up all the details and click on next to proceed. On completion, Click Submit to submit your application.
· On successful submission of the form, you will get a confirmation page stating your username and password and other details. Please take a printout of the page and follow the instructions as mentioned in the confirmation letter.
· Please don’t take the printout of the Admission form.
Q4: After Filling up the form I didn't get the confirmation page, what should I do?
Ans : Write to info@thebishopsschool.org stating the details of your child like the name, date of birth, parents name, and class applied. We will send the details as early as possible. You need not apply again.
Q5: After Filling up the form I am
getting a message like 'Sorry Matching Records Found In Database'.
Ans : This message comes if you have already applied for
admission into the same class, because the restriction has been made not to
allow two duplicate forms. Please note at the time of filling up the
application form, on the 3rd page if you click on the submit button more than
once.. the above said message displays . So incase you are getting this message,
do send the details of your child like the name, date of birth, parents
name, and class applied for at info@thebishopsschool.org .We will send the
details as soon as possible. You need not apply again.
Q6: I could not take a printout of the confirmation page after filling the application. What to do?
Ans : Click on the "Application Status" link on the homepage of our site and provide your username and password to see the status of your application. Take a printout of the same for your reference. Incase you have forgotten the username and password then mail at info@thebishopsschool.org giving the details as mentioned in Q4. We will send the details as soon as possible after verifying the database.
Q7: My son's / daughter's / ward's age is not coming in the age limit for a particular class. What should I do ?. My Childs age is only few days short or more than age limit specified.
Ans: You cannot apply for admission into school if your Childs age is not coming within the age limit specified. It won't allow you even if your Child’s age is just 1 day short or more. But if you want to get further information on this or want your application to be considered then write a mail to principal@thebishopsschool.org.
Q8: When should I pay for the interview / written test fee?
Ans: You can make the payment either through cash or DD. Cash payments will be accepted between 15th January 2007 to 30th January 2008 (9AM to 1PM) . Incase you want to make it through DD/Cheque then draw the DD/Cheque in favour of The Bishop's School, Pune payable at Pune, and send it to the school address. Please mention username and applicant name behind the DD/Cheque. You can also drop it in the drop box provided at the school office.
Q9: How can I know the status of my application?
Ans: To know the status of your application please login to your account by clicking on the 'Application Status' link available on the homepage of our site. Provide the username and password as mentioned in your confirmation letter to see the status of your application. In case of any queries mail us at info@thebishopsschool.org.
Q10: I have paid the interview or test fee. How to check my Interview/Written test Date & Time?
Ans: If you have paid the Interview or Test Fee, then you can check for the date and time of interview/Written test as follows.

right corner) on the home page of our site.

Put your username and

Q11: Can I meet the Principal for discussion on my Childs admission?
Ans: The Principal will not be available for any sort of discussion related to admission. You can send all your queries at info@thebishopsschool.org .All your queries will be answered.
